More than 8 million professionals worldwide have participated in this program to learn how to resolve conflict at the earliest possible stage. Training participants will gain a basic understanding of crisis intervention methods and prevention techniques, as well as learn principles of non-harmful physical intervention.
Presenter Bio:
Dan Matthews is a Classroom Behavior Specialist in the Grand Valley State University Charter Schools Office and certified Crisis Prevention Institute instructor, with more than 40 years of behavioral management experience. He has received numerous awards including the 2005 National Association of Secondary School Principals National Assistant Principal of the Year, the 2004 Michigan Association of Secondary School Principals Michigan Assistant Principal of the Year, and the West Michigan Parent Advisory Committee Regional Special Educator of the Year.
