Description
This workshop will provide information to school staff, teachers and administrators about how to incorporate more "green and healthy" initiatives into our schools specifically through energy efficiency and conservation. Schools are saving big through energy efficiency projects. Learn ways to save money through energy and incorporate real-life learning opportunities. Participants will be given work time to develop ideas for their classroom and/or school community.
Annie Baker, School Energy Specialist, Wisconsin K-12 Energy Education Program (KEEP), a Green & Healthy Schools Provider with Focus on Energy speaker, Melissa Rickert.
Meemic Foundation Club members that attend this workshop will receive a $100 stipend (payable to the school, limited to one per person with no more than 4 staff members per school). Lunch will be provided for all attendees.
